Not only flying skills count in order to be selected, personality is essential, too. Till Gottbrath, NOVA PR manager and responsible for the team, explains: “The pilots should reflect the brand’s image. NOVA stands for outstanding performance, a passion for paragliding and values such as openness, honesty, amicability and reliability. NOVA team pilots ideally represent these values and act as role models. That means, if you are going to meet a pilot with the NOVA PIOLOTS TEAM logo on the apparel or paraglider, you may well expect him/her to answer your questions regarding house thermal, local wind system, or dangers.”

If you like NOVA’s philosophy and if you want to be part of it, we look forward to receiving your informal application (just mail to ). Tell us especially about your attitude towards paragliding and why we should pick YOU for the NOVA PILOTS TEAM. However, if it is only your intention to get discount on your new wing and if you want to switch teams again next year anyway, we ask you not to apply! Our test pilots Toni Bender, Walter Holzmüller and Mario Eder have been working for us for ages. To cut along story short: We are looking for good pilots in the long run.
We want to tell you honestly, that the team for the 2008 season is basically set by now. Nevertheless, as we said before: We will be there in the future. Taking Johann Kronberger and Marc Wensauer as an example, it is generally also possible to join our team during the season. Both of them were hired last year after the season had already started and they finished very successful (Johann won the worldwider ranking in PG standard class / DHV 1–2 on XContest.org and Marc became German Champion in the serial class). So please do not hesitate to send us your application anytime – and even you don’t make into the team now, maybe next year.
